Emerging from a several year hiatus, singer/songwriter Fleet Walker is eager to tell of his experience writing his forthcoming sophomore album. Following his critically acclaimed debut, "Morning Void" in 2011 (825 Records), Fleet rediscovered his purpose back home on the Jersey shore, refining what he does best; A combination of melancholic songwriting paired with powerful vocal performances and illimitable lyrical content.

While approaching the final stages of recording a new album independently with producer Pat Noon, Fleet divulged, "I still felt something was unfinished," and returned to "Morning Void" producer Matty Amendola to finalize a song written during their time together. "I asked Matty to dig up the demo because I felt like it would represent my anxiety of urgency after my first album's release," says Fleet. "I needed to close a chapter to start the next."

The result was "A.S.A.P." Accompanied once again by Amendola on various instrumentation at 825 Records' studio (Brooklyn, NY), Fleet croons on top of walls of melodic distortion with a chanting drone reminiscent of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Regeneration of echo and engaging indie rock riffs encapsulate the listener into a 3-minute journey of Fleet's viewpoint.

"A.S.A.P." was conceived as a transitional release to prepare fans for his upcoming full-length album, “Perseverance."
